EIA Standard RS-422-A:
Document Summary

The physical and electrical characteristics for the TBOS protocol are mandated by CB-149 to conform to EIA standard RS-422. This standard is entitled "Electrical characteristics of balanced voltage digital interface circuits". EIA standard RS-422-A is dated December, 1978 which is the version date referenced in CB-149. EIA-422-B can be ordered on-line ($46 US) through the Electronic Industries Alliance site.
